Stop Getting Stuck

Month-end has a way of exposing the gaps.

The follow-up that didn't happen.

The call that lacked control.

The guest who turned into Casper the ghost.

The deal that died because nobody asked the right question.

When you’re not sure where to go with a guest, the answer is not to guess, freeze, or over explain.

The answer is to ask better questions.

Too often, salespeople, BDC reps, and service advisors get stuck because they try to solve the conversation in their own head.... clarity usually comes from the guest talking, not from assumptions.

A strong question can uncover what matters, identify the real objection, and create a clear next step.

Try questions like:

  • “What’s most important to you at this point?”

  • “What would need to happen for this to make sense?”

  • “Where are you at with this on a scale of 1 to 10?”

  • “If you narrowed it down, what is the one thing holding you back from moving forward?”

These questions are simple, but they get the guest talking.

Month-end isn't time to be passive. It’s game time.

Follow up with purpose.

Ask with confidence.

Listen to the answer.

Then guide the guest to the next step.

When you feel stuck....

ASK.
